LTC Orlowski is the Product Manager for Robotic Combat Vehicle in the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems. LTC Orlowski and his team are responsible for executing the hardware and software programs that will eventually deliver the Robotic Combat Vehicle family of systems. LTC Orlowski’s operational assignments include Tank Platoon Leader, Operation Iraqi Freedom; Commander, U.S. Army Beckley Recruiting Company; and Officer-in-Charge, Joint Robotics Repair Detachment – Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom. LTC Orlowski’s program management assignments include Assistant Product Manager, Robotic Systems Joint Project Office; Program Manager, Biological Technologies Office and Tactical Technology Office, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency; and Deputy Director – Acquisition, U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office. LTC Orlowski holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
